David Evangelista started in magic at the young age of nine years old after his grandmother purchased a deck of TV Magic Cards in 1971 for David's birthday. Later that year for Christmas, his parents purchased a TV Magic Set by Marshall Brodien.  At thirteen years old he first saw Doug Henning's World of Magic and knew that he wanted to do illusions. In 1978, David saw illusionist David Copperfield perform on his first magic special and the rest is all history.  By the time David was thirteen he was being handcuffed and thrown in to swimming pools by his brothers so David could emulate his hero Harry Houdini.  Some 45+ years later, David has performed throughout the country at many interesting venues and conventions.  He is considered an expert in escapes and fire magic and has one of the most unbelievable live parrot acts you will ever see.
